I have two XP PRO machines talking to a Win/2k Small
Business Server. They are connected using a an 8 Port
Linksys switch. I receive "The name "XXXXXXXXXX :1d"
could not be registered on the Interface with IP address
192.168.1.16. The machine with the IP address
192.168.1.12 did not allow the name to be claimed by this
machine." Where XXXXXXXXXX is the name of the domain.
The machine with IP address 16 is the XP PRO machine and
the IP address 12 is the Win/2k Small Business Server and
PDC. The PDC has Active Directory, and DNS running. The
PDC is listed as the first DNS address. An ISP system is
listed as the 2nd DNS system.
Any ideas??
