Hi all

I am having a strange problem. I use Net6 VPN client in my local laptop to connect to my office machine. First I connect to office maching using the Net6 client. THen I click on the Remote DeskTop Connection client in my laptop and click on 'Connect'. All the IP address and other properties are set correctly in RDC client for my office machine

The problem I have is most of the time I am not able to connect to office computer. I get "Remote Host unavailable' message. Very rarely I could connect to office machine. I checked with my office IS department to see if my office machine is ON and functioning. They said yes

Both my office desktop and my local laptop are having WinXP SP2 operating system

Please reply to this mail since I am currently unable to do any work at all

Thank
Maha

Ask if they can try running remote desktop to that PC to see if it works
internally. If not, ask them to reboot the PC. See if that works.

operating system.

SP2? It isn't released yet - why are you using it in a production
environment? Or is that a typo?
