NET WORK PROBLEM SHARING PRINTER

I presently have two computers , one with windwos xp home ,the other with
windows xp professional. I run my internet to both of them using a router. I
want to share a printer between thwe two. I tried using network wizard to set
a network between the two computers. set everything up as requested. Using
the same workgroup.when running the one with xp pro the program seemed to
work but when I ran the network wizard and the xp home computer it stopped
and gave an error and cannot complete setup. I turned the printer on to share
but when I go back to ad printers and check the printer showed as not shared
and cannot chane it to share. I get a message stating Printer setting could
not be saved Operation could not be completed. Any Help would be appreciated

Manually set a configured "exception" in the XP SP2 firewall to allow
File/Printer sharing thru it.

Temporaryly turn off anti-virus softwares and try testing the printer
again.

When I went to my firewall allowing printer sharing was already checked off
I turned off my firewall and also went to the printer properties and
checked to see if it showed that shaing was checked off. It wasnt,t and I
cannot get it to allow it to share. as before. Internet connection settings:
When I go to network wizard I get to a page saying ready to apply network
settings and get the following statement:

Connecting via ICS through: Unknown Internet Connection Sharing device

Computer name: TOPNOTCH3200
Workgroup name: RUDOLFS

File and printer sharing is turned on. The Shared Documents folder and any
files or printers you have shared are now available for others to use.

I click next and it startes to try to connect , but after awhile I get this
Message.

An Error occured during configuration of the network on this computer
You can configure your network manuallly , or you can run wizard again with
differnet settings. When I click finish It tells me to reboot. but no
connection is made.
