Hi all.
I would like to enquire if others have experienced problems with the last
freeware release of the download manager Net Transport?
(This is v1.87.258 from the about screen.)
My experiences relate to use under Windoze 98SE and IE6.
Since updating to the last freeware build, two issues have arisen.
1. Browser integration now seems suspect.
Clicking a download link in the browser will often result in the launch of
Net Transport without it being primed for the download of the referenced
URL. IE will then attempt to download directly.
1a. On occasion, similar to the above, Net Transport will launch - and then
crash - following clicking a link in IE.
Since discovering Net Transport it has been my download manager, and has
been updated with new releases of the software - without any problems at
all. Only since 1.87 have these issues appeared.
It kind of makes you wonder if 98 support is a bit flaky.
