Does anybody in the group remember the name of a program when run would
tell you what application was accessing what port (I believe). The user
interface showed the application icon along a bar with text under it. I
believe it was net something, or xnet. I googled and got netwatcher, but it
wasn't the prog I thought. I remember getting the program review here, But
can't rememeber the name.

I remember there was one call Netpeeker (the site is googl-
able), it was freeware in the beginning and then turned to
shareware.

Probably a dozen little apps that did that, but here's one I liked:

AnalogX Port Blocker

I now use a hardware firewall, but check Snapfiles if you need anything
else.
