Use "net share" command on the shared computer to check share status. If there is not a share named "IPC$" in the share list, use "net share ipc$" command to create it.

when i type net share in command i have ipc and admin as remote is this
somthing to worry about.
and could this be related to the error msg i have been recieving "the server
is not configured for transactions"?
