Net send yet again

Hello,

I have 5 servers, all Windows 2000. 3 are AD, two are standalone. When
I do a Net Send * from Server 1, everyone (servers & workstations) get
the message except my new server, #5 (also has Exchange 2000). The new
server has AD.

When I do a net send * from the new server, #5, no other computer gets
the message, it just gets its own message.

All are using same DNS server and WINS server.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Steve,

It sounds like the Messenger service is not running. Go into services and
make sure it is set to automatic and started.

It sounds like the Messenger service is not running. Go into services and
make sure it is set to automatic and started.

The Messenger service is running. If I do a Net Send from that machine
it gets its own message.
