I am using SimPE which is a Advanced Sims 2 Editor. It uses .NET Framework
1.1.

But when I run it, it works for about 5 minutes, well the time varies, then
the whole Computer Freezes and when I check in the Even Viewer theese come
up:

Error 1:

AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address
(0xcf8), which lies in the 0xcf8 - 0xcff protected address range. This could
lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical
assistance.

Error 2:

AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address
(0xcfc), which lies in the 0xcf8 - 0xcff protected address range. This could
lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical
assistance.

Error 3:

AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address (0x70),
which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to
system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical
assistance.

Error 4:

AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO port address
(0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could
lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical
assistance.

I have no idea why ONLY .NET Framework does this.

Does anyone have an idea?

Why do you think it has anything to do with the .NET framework rather than just a poorly written piece of software? Do you have another Sims 2 PE editor that doesn't use the framework taht works great (which still doesn;t prove anything of course)

I, like Richard, am unsure how you arrived at the conclusion that the errors
are caused by the .NET Framework.

You are probably in need of a BIOS upgrade.
