Where is the best newsgroup to post questions about NET Framework?

That, to be honest, would depend on the nature of your question. Maybe
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework

I hope I typed that right...

Access MS Newsgroups :
http://kgiii.info/windows/all/general/msnewsgroups.html

Then under the newsgroups listing type in "net" (or dotnet) and see what you
come up with.

Galen,
Thanks for the reply. Below is a copy of what I posted at that site you
listed. We'll see if I get any response there. Maybe you can answer my
question here also.

Just installed (actually re-installed) NET Framework. After reboot my
Windows start-up has been changed. First, let me say I'm using Windows XP
Home version, and prior to the install when I started the computer it just
would come up with my desktop. I had it configured this way as there are
only 2 of us using the computer. Now, I've got to "log-in" with my name, and
when my screen saver activates, it forces me to select my name again... Just
wasted steps that I'd like to get rid of. Any help out there??

Thanks, Ned

Galen,
Just a follow-on. Got the answer from the newsgroup that you pointed me to.
Works fine... Thanks

Excellent. Glad to hear you got it sorted out and found the right place to
ask. Now to figure out the differences with 2.0...
