.NET Framework for XP

Is there a good place to download the .NET Framework for Windows XP? I want to be able to run my .NET applications on my PC but don't seem to be able to without the Framework

Any applications wirtten in Visual Studio 2002 requires Version 1.0 of the
framework any applications written in Visual Studio 2003 normally requires
version 1.1 of the framework.

The framework must be installed in order to run .NET applications.
