Net Framework causes Messenger to no longer logon

I thought at first that it was SP2 that caused Messenger to stop logging on
automatically, but I think it is the netframwork update that is causing
this.

How do I get Messenger to autolog in automatically?

The .NET Framework has nothing to do with Messenger.
