.Net Framework 2.0 and XPe

Dear All,
I downloaded .net framework 2.0 from ms website site. Now i am getting
error stating that not enough space to install the same , exe/msi is
only about 24mb but it is looking for 280mb space.

Any idea how to get this installed?

What version of Windows XPe are you using? SP2 with FP2007 has a .NET 2.0
component.
