The MMC part or the Catalyst part? I'm not aware of any real issues related
to Catalyst with XP SP2?

If you have an ATI HDTV Wonder Card and try to upgrade DTV Decoder, you'll
be greeted with a message, "Download failed. Error = 0x800C0005 No message
available."

I have struggled for DAYS trying to get this damn card to work with a Radeon
9550 video adaptor. At this point, I don't think I'll ever buy another ATI
Product again.

I see. It's unfortunate ATi's multimedia products do not receive the same
level of software and driver support as its graphics cards.

I still see the same errors with the new Catalyst version with XP SP2.

MS Windows XP Event Viewer errors : ati2mtag "SRB command
failed -SRB_GET_DEVICE_PROPERTY"

And

ATI TV Player still freezes and hangs the computer, after 2 to 6 hours of
use.

Do ATI post a text document with the updates to this version of Catalyst, so
people can see what's new?
A friend told me that this version would specificly fix a problem with a
game I'm playing (Dark Age of Camelot (DAoC)).

I recently built a gaming rig with tried and tested components including AMD
64 4400x2 cpu - this setup was for a purchaser. I bought and installed xp
pro sp2 05 edition all fine until I installed the drivers 5.13 and CCC with
x1800xt 512mb. When pc restarted it would hang at xp splash screen - tried
several clean reinstalls and traced the problem to ccc. I have googled this
issue to find it is not too uncommon - I have spoken with ATI who did not
profer too much help but mentioned the driver set should fix.

Well, the GUIDE+ (v5.9) does not work any more for me with the new MMC
9.13. Is ATI switching to TitanTv for all their AIW graphic cards ?

I am currently using the AIW 9600 XT.

You need to make sure that you have installed .NET 1.1 as CCC requires
it. If you need to have .NET 2.0 you will to have them installed side by
side as the 2.0 does not supersede the 1.x.

I have that combination for almost a year. Follow their advice and remove
old drivers first. In the case of the combination, that means remove ALL ATi
drivers w/ their removal tool, and then install the new ones - in the right
order, of course...

Amy have a look at the thread bellow it might save you purchasing another
card. I have been working on installing the software for weeks.
