.NET 3.0 is missing

I installled Vista Beta2 and verified that .NET 3.0 is not present. Attempts
to download .NET 3.0 and subsequently install it were disastrous and failed.
I restored my OS successfully and went to verify that .NET was there and it
was not .NET 3.0. Can anyone help?

Vista contains components of .net 3.0 (aka WinFX). But only components.
