When accessing web interfaces on many network equipment vendors equipment ie7
displays HTTP 400 errors after installing .net 3.0 framework. Removing 3.0
relsolves the issue. Firefox and ie6 do not have the same issue.

Equipment vendors I have experienced the problem when browsing to the web
managment tools:
Sony IPELA video conferencing units
Extreme Networks Switches
McData Fiber Switches for SANS
Netgear wireless equipment
Cisco PDM
Lucent Cajun Switches
I'm sure there are others.

Any information would be greatly appricated. I am a network guy not a
developer so this is a little out of my realm! Thanks

Hello Carpadum,

Just in case nobody steps forward with an immediate solution - I think
even though it seems to a problem of more than one application on your
system, you would probably have to ask the companies who made those web
frontends for information on it.

One thing I'd try is whether this problem is the same on a system that
comes with both IE7 and .NET 3 installed out of the box - like Vista does.
I think it's rather probable that there's something wrong with your
installation of these two components...
