When attempting to do an install through a group policy to my network of 2.0
(using netfx.msi) it reports that "The install of application Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.0 from policy 20framework failed. The error was: the
installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists and that you can access it."

I first thought that maybe I had made a mistake on the path to the file.
However if I typed the path on one fo our clients it goes to teh location
fine.

Anyone have any suggestions?? I am on Windows Server 2003 Standard.

Thanks,

Kelly

Do you have people in your band or group that only play by ear?
When transposing songs do those that play by ear struggle and
does it leave vocals and band members without a recording in the
correct key to practice with?
Visit http://www.jerichoband.net/jericho/keychange.htm
where you can have the song's key changed to what you need
without negatively affecting the tempo or instruments in the recording...

I ran into the same problem with another GPO install when I referenced the
domain name instead of a specific server. What I found was that
<\\domain\path to msi> wasn't reliable. When I changed to <\\server\path to
msi> it started working.
