I have a user specific message stating that ".NET Framework 1.1 required"
when accessing a bank's website. The .NET 1.1 is installed already. I've
tried uninstalling it and IE7, then re-installing both, but still get the
same error. Other users are not getting the error at all when accessing the
same website. It just happens on this one.

Any ideas?

Do you have all of the security updates for.NET Framework 1.1 installed? Go
to MS
update to verify this if you are not sure or else go to Add/Remove Programs
with "show updates" checked.
If you are still having problems use the special uninstallation utility for
..NET Framework available here :

Yes we do. That was done prior to posting this odd symptom. All updates to
1.1 2.0 and 3.0 are installed. I am suspecting it is a settings issue with
this user. At first I thought it was a Web issue, but each user that uses
this website would have been affected.
