Nesting or combining distribution lists

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP1 and would like to combine (or nest) two
distribution lists. Here's what I've attempted thus far, based on other
posted suggestions:

1. Email the second DL by inserting it as an Item (didn't work; my Insert
menu does not contain the word Item)

2. Copying the entries in one DL then pasting them into the second DL
(didn't work; I can select all the name and click on Edit | Copy but there is
nothing on the clipboard and subsequently when I go to the second DL Edit |
Paste is ghosted)

3. Dragging and dropping one DL name over the other (when I start to drag a
small rectangle appears with my mouse pointer but then disppears when I
release it over the other DL name)

Thank you for your time.

Post makes no sense:
Why would you email the DL?
"Insert Item" exists in every version of Outlook.
If you want to nest DL's, why would you not just add one to another?

Someone suggested emailing the DL, that's why I tried it.

Please let me know how I would add one DL to the other without manually
adding each name one by one.

Thanks again!

When you open a DL, the Select Members... button allows you to add a DL to
that DL.

That was it, and so easy too. Thanks Russ.
