Is it possible to nest folders/shortcuts within other
folders in "All Programs"? If so, how?

Thanx,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Open Windows Explorer by right clicking the Start button and select Explore.

There are two folders under "Documents and Settings" that generate the list
you see in "All Programs"; they are your user name folder (Dan maybe...) and
"All Users". Most of the items should be under "All Users".

In the left pane, click on All Users and then on Start Menu.

You should see a folder for Programs and a few misc icons (Windows Catelog,
Windows Update, etc).
The icons not in the folder are the items that appear in the top half of the
All Programs menu, everything else is in the programs folder.

You can make a folder here by right clicking the right pane and selecting
New and Folder (right click the new folder to name it) or you can open the
Programs folder and do the same to create a folder in there.

Then it's a matter of clicking, dragging, and dropping the folders where you
want them.

Happy nesting! :)
