Hi

I am running windows XP sp2
I am using another firewall than the default windows firewall

What do i need to adjust - other than opening for port 3389?

Br, Morten

If you have a router, you have to also forward port 3389 to whatever the IP
address is of the machine behind it that is running the RD Server.

Additionally you can test port forwarding through your router and firewalls
from the Remote Desktop host by going to the http://www.canyouseeme.org
site.

Is the Terminal Services service running and the Remote Desktop host PC
listening on TCP Port 3389?

You should only need to forward/open TCP Port 3389. What software firewall
are you using?

Did the Canyouseeme test pass?

Can you connect to the Remote Desktop host PC from another PC on the same
local LAN?
