Hi, My husband purchased nero & and we have installed the windows vista Home
premium upgrade, the nero will not download onto our computer...We were told
to look for updates to rectify this problem but we cant find an update
anywhere...can anyone help...

You could try downloading the 7 Demo, and I guess you could activate that.

I installed the demo with no problems on Vista Business yesterday

THankyou very much, my husband actually already did that so thats why we cant
figure out how the full version wont download, a waste of $200.00

Yeah, I'm not too sure about the new Nero. Seems to be a rival to Windows,
now . . . too much stuff on it.

I was happy with V6

Right-click on the Nero installation file and select
"Run as administrator".

You spent $200.00 on Nero?

Honeycherub30,

Fully I’m cognizant that how your family distributes finances should not
concern others or myself.

With the above expressed, question, sincerely, what is your need for
implementing Nero within Windows Vista? Do you burn an enormous number of
ISOs? Is your Version of Vista 32-bit or 64-bit?

Reason for inquiring, the application conflicts that you describe are likely
competeting driver conflicts.

Additionally, what you described is what occurs when one has an application
that has compatibilty conflicts with Vista. Although, has been reported the
proper version of Nero somewhat functions within Vista.

Now my greatest curiosity; why did and/or for what purpose did your husband
attempt installing Nero within Vist; now competeting for space, drivers, and
abusing your time?

The below Microsoft Windows Vista URL provides considerable information for
benefiting from the many features integrated within Vista.

Also, the below Microsoft Windows Vista URL will provide you with related
information, in respect to Installing and Setting Up Windows Vista; many
items currently you have accomploished.

If you purchased a boxed version of Nero from a store the version in
the box is slightly older then the ones available for download.
The latest version you can download is the one that has the best
compatibility with Windows Vista.
Download version 7.7.5.1 from here
http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php

It says it is the demo version but all you need do is put in your
Product Key that you got in the box with your retail version to
activate it as the full version once it is installed.
