Does it ID the drive ok?
Try updating it (Nero) if applicable.

i havent got the dual layer burner yet but i am on the way to get it
i have version 6 plus the latest updates

Hmmm...why don't you send an email to Nero support and ask them?

i have but their website is really cranky i.e. whatever email addy u pt in
it will not accept it as a valid email address thats why i cannot get their
advice

be included(bundled) when purchasing.
