For those interested, Nero is now at version 7.5.9.0 and available for
download. Unfortunately I don't see a release note for it on the
website...

have you had the 'rundll32' bug? Use Windows Explorer to browse to a folder
containing MPEG files and see if you get the error. Make sure you've got the
folder view set to Icons instead of list or detail view
 
I'm hearing scattered reports that the "COM Surrogate" crashes are still
occuring.

Thanks for the tip.
It has been my plague that slows the machine to a crawl while the
messages appear.

Does RegHelper not crash anymore, and is the Nero ImageDrive working again
yet?

Just disable all the Nero DirectShow filters (use DirectShow Filter Manager),
to fix the COM Surrogate errors.

Did that, it doesn't get rid of the 'rundll32' error
