Nero problem

I just got the Nero 5.5 version with my dvd.cdrw combo. I installed all the
programs but one...the packet writing one, because an error appears to say that
a particular file of my uninstalled Directcd could not be found, and so denies
me to install that program. I uninstalled Directcd before installing Nero,
because it stated to do so. I did a search for the file and it could not be
found..because its not there. I even went as far as deleting anything related
to directcd in the registry. Does anyone know how I can get to install this
packet program? I went to Nero's web page, and you have to fill out a form that
is unbelievable..i just got bored doing it. The things one has to put up with
to get support of any kind these days.
 
Okay. You can't install some version of INCD because of a missing file.
What is name of missing filename?

It apparently is a file related to my Directcd uninstall.program..as far as i
can make it. ..its called...Dcdunins.isu...When I try to remove it Adaptec
Directcd from the control panels ads/remove area, thats when i get the message.
 
Sometimes if you reinstall the program, then deinstall, that does the trick.
