Nero/MoveMaker

I have Nero 7 that I used to export VOB video files. I assume it converts
them to Mpeg2. When I open them in MovieMaker all I see is a blank screen.
Can anyone tell me what I plugin I need to view the video.

These a not copyrighted movies but 8mm movie film that I had transferred to
DVDs.

Windows Movie Maker is not really designed for editing MPEG files. Nero can
edit them fine as can other third party editors... WinDVD Creator, Roxio,
PowerDirector....

Do you have DVD decoding software installed on your PC.... WinDVD and/or
PowerDVD are the two most common.

That's a decoding software, not an editor.
