Have you tried Nero 6.6.1.4? It has worked for me on every build since Beta
2.

I tried it and ver 7, nether would install right on rc-1 for me.

Hmmm...interesting. Have you tried installing 6.6 in compatibility mode?
Nero 7 will not work as it is completely not compatible with Vista and from
information I have received from the Nero developers is that they will not
start working on a Vista ready version until RTM of Vista.

Almost all the programs in Roxio's Easy Media Creator version 7.5 work, I
have heard 8 works and they just released a version 9 that is Vista
compatible.

Have you tried installing 6.6.1.4 as Administrator? Right clink on the
installer and Run as Administrator.

Nero 6.0 (Older Version) works just fine on Windows Vista, Just FYI.

I was trying to make an mp3 cd. Haven't tried anything else yet. The app
screen pops on for a split second and there is an application failure window.

Nero 7.5.1.1 LITE works perfectly on RC1 (as 6.6 did, but without any
compatibility warnigs).

I finally got Nero 2 work but I needed 2 right click each of nero's exe programs and tell it to run in SP2 /w admin . Worked fine afterwards
