I just downloaded and installed (Burning ROM only) the latest version of
Nero 7. Seems to work, but I haven't tried to burn anything. I installed
as Admin and got no messages about compatibility.

ops...i see you guys have 7570...i tried 7511 ...i'll try again with this
version...

I just tried to install it and it wants me to install direct x9 or it will
not install. What do I do? I stopped the install at that point.

same was here with 7511 version. While latest 7570 one installed fine
without any directX comments.
Try latest version

7570 is the version I tried to install. Should I say OK and let it try to
install direct x9? Will it actually overwrite 10?

hm...couldn't tell, because i didn't get this notice when i installed 7570
version...but, from previous experience, Directx wousln't install old over
new...but, since it's vista, and RC2, i guess you never know..
Make restore point and try....that way you can restore if goes wrong.

Even with the option ticked it doesn't install Direct X9. Install perfectly
after that glitch.

dxdiag.exe reports Direct X10 still.
