When I try to burn a video, i get the error
message "Internal Target Failure" right at the end of the
burning process. Is that something that I can fix on my
own or does it mean something is wrong with my recorder
or the file itself? Thanks.

I went to Nero's website and this is the closest I could find to your error
message:

13. I get a "SCSI target error" when using Nero/Nero Express. How do I
resolve this problem?
This error be caused by the following:

a.. Normally caused by CD-R or CD-RW media the recorder is unable to work
with. Or the media could be defective, dirty or just not compatible with the
recorder.
b.. Cables are known to cause this: loose cables, damaged cables, loose
power connectors, etc.
c.. Defective recorders are known to cause this. Test with another demo
software to rule out software as the cause. If two software programs have
the same symptom, your recorder may need service.
d.. If the drive is being polled by another software's driver, it could
hang the bus. Uninstall any other CD recording software you may have had on
your system, as well as Nero. Then use Registry cleaner software to clean
you registry. At last try a fresh install of our latest Nero release.
Hope it helps .. Michael Mauzey

Actually, I did reinstall it from the Nero website
because I didn't know that Nero 6 had been updated. I'm
considering getting a new recorder and hopefully that
will take care of the problem. This recorder is over 4
yrs. old.
thanks guys

I don't know if it help, but Nero has 6 updates on their
website. I had to install all 6 of them to get Nero to
work correctly after installing sp2.
