I have transferred a graphic from FINALE software (Music
notation) to power point. But I need to do a reverse
image of the graphic. It is currently black notes on a
white background, and I need white notes on a black
background. Any suggestions? I am using Ppowerpoint 2003

Unfortunately PPT's graphic editing capabilities are very limited. You can
either figure out how to have FINALE output the image the way you need
(which would be the best option if possible) or you will need to edit the
image in an image editing app (Photoshop, paint, corel, etc.)

You can see if any of the tools on the Picture toolbar
(View/Toolbars/Picture) help. Sometimes you can do this by manipulating
contrast and other settings there.

The best way, though, would be to open the graphic in an image editor and
tweak it there. Then save that graphic and insert it into PPT using
Insert/Picture/From File.

Hi Larry,

Office 2003 (including PowerPoint 2003 and Picture Manager 2003) does not
have the capability to invert the colors of an image.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint and/or
Picture Manager should provide a color inversion option or other image
correction (not editing) options <since these are NOT image editing
applications>, don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also why it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)

Of course if you think that PowerPoint and/or Picture Manager SHOULD
provide real image editing features as well (not just image correction),
you can submit that wish as well :-)
