HI,

Does anyone have a freeware copy of DriveimagXP or DrivecloneXP that I
could get? The freeware site seems to have gone under.

What about any other drive imaging software that will work with
Windows 2000 Server?

Please reply via email to me.

Thanks,
B

Hi DC - Well, first, he asked to be provided the programs, and I didn't
think most people would care to have a MB of attachments show up in the news
group :) , and second, he ask to be responded to by email. If you (or
anyone else within reason) also would like to be sent copies of these
programs, please email me at jrbyrd @ comcast.net and I'll provide
them, since they now appear to be abandoned. Be sure that you include a
valid email address, and that your ISP will allow receipt of two attachments
of ~500kB each. Also, these are self-extracting .exe's and you may have to
re-name the extensions if you have a firewall which changes them (such as
ZA, for example.)

Please respond in the same thread.

Gee, that's *really* helpful to the rest of us. Thanks for playing.

*sigh* }:O\

Real helpful....NOT.

Win 9x/NT/2K/XP - 32 bit extensions & a graphical shell for a 16 bit
patch to an 8 bit operating system originally coded for a 4 bit
microprocessor, written by a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of
competition.

NT, 2K and XP are not shells, patches, 8-bit or coded for a 4bit
microprocessor.

They are true 32-bit, pre-empitive multitasking, multi-user operating
systems.

Ok, I stand corrected from "Registered Linucks hater #7011799107". My
deepest apologies.

You wouldn't be; by any chance; one of those supporters of the OS
that is so poorly written that half the world slowed to a snails pace
because of it? You know, the OS that BY DESIGN; allows trojans, worms,
viruses & other bad code to affect it? C'mon... you can say it.....
Microshaft....

I accept.

I am not. I've never even heard of Microshaft.

Do you have a link to their homepage?

Hi DC - Well, first, he asked to be provided the programs, and I didn't
think most people would care to have a MB of attachments show up in the news

No, that certainly would have sucked. }:O)

I didn't interpret the post to mean he wanted the programs (bins). I
expected he wanted a working d/l link. I guess I read it differently.
and second, he ask to be responded to by email.

That's where I have a little problem. I don't need the programs,
myself, but someone else might. Replying by mail, while kindly helping
the OP, does nothing for the next guy that comes along in acf. It would
have been prefereble to post a working link (if there is one available,
obviously) so that others may benefit.

In short, try to keep the info in the group. That's all. }:O)

Apart from answering bitterly to an old joke...

And, do you *really* believe it ?
Seems there are a few words in your sentence
that you don't understand :D)

True, but one should be able to post to the group and e-mail the
individual, all at one swoop, if so desired. (As a general rule, I
don't e-mail people what I post in newsgroups, but that's another
discussion entirely.)
