NEEDED: a vhd explorer

hi, just wondering if someone was interested in writing a app that can explore
vhd-(virtual harddrives) that are created by virtualpc,i know a lot of people
could use a app like this.

Really? Can you explain a bit more how this could be useful?

I mean, why not just open the virtual machine and "explore" inside of
it? I do a lot of work with VM's and I've never had the need to explore
the "virtual hard drives" of either VMWare or VPC.

I would like it, if it supported standard floppy/hard disk images (like
WinImage does). As a Bochs and QEMU user, I miss a freeware tool for disk image
edition.

Yes, but I use Windows 98 and this is for NT/2K/XP.
Currently I use WinImage (*NOT FREEWARE*) to work with disk images.
