We using SBS2000(WIN2000 srv as domain controller), and
win2000 clients and Win98 Clients

Suddenly, TODAY, the win98 client can not login to domain,
and got this error message:

"The domain password you supplied is not correct,
or access to your logon server has been denied"

The Win2000 client is ok and work fine, not 1 or 2 win98
clients, all(about 20 pcs) can't login to domain.....

I searched KB and found the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;177362

Then, I obtained the hot-fix from MS support and
installed, still NOT work.......

I used all posibble solutions such as

LMHost file, DNS server............

WHAT IS HAPPENING, CAN ANY ONE HELP ME

thanks

Got WINS installed on the server? W9x needs it.
How many nics in the server?
Have a look at www.smallbizserver.net to check your setup and the
microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000 newsgroup.

You may also have a network connectivity problem to the W2K dc. Keep in mind
that by default, a W2K user can log in via "cached credentials" if no domain
controller can be found and the user may not even know it. Running the set command on
a W2K machine will tell where it is logged onto. --- Steve
