NEED XP ICON PACK

My hard drive bit the dust so I used the re-installation (Dell) CD to load XP
etc. All works fine as the day I took delivery of the computer except the
additional icon pack is gone. I have used several of those icons on the old
drive and I'd like to get them back. Are they available to download from
Microsoft. Is so... where. -Bill

The icon pack was part of an XP service pack that you lost along with your
hard drive. However, all icons are stored in the shell32.dll System file.
See if you can locate that file on your old drive, or copy it from another
computer.

There are also many icon packs free for download on the Net. Just do a
Google search.
 
icons get transformed
depending on the theme
you select or download.

maybe cycling your
themes might help.

also might try to
download a new theme
from microsoft.com or
other place.
