Hello all,

I'm looking for a new card, and I'm interested in any suggestions or
personal experiences from anyone who would like to share them. Thanks
in advance.

I don't need (and probably cannot afford) the newest, "bestest"
hardware that exists. What I'm looking for is, essentially, a
replacement for my Radeon AIW. (I provide no numbers after the model
because when I bought it, there were none. It's the original Radeon
AIW- an ATI 7200 chip, IIRC, with 32MB onboard RAM.)

I'm open to all suggestions. My only real requirements are a TV
tuner, at least 128MB RAM, and a reasonably fast 3D chip. I'm not
particularly brand loyal, and although I've been happy with the
performance of ATI's Radeon chip, their drivers leave much to be
desired.

In fact, now might be a good time for me to include this little bit of
info. I don't really use the tuner on my current card. I've always
used an external tuner (namely, a VCR) and I probably will continue to
do so. If a card with a simple video input will perform the same
function, I'd be happy to go that route. Your expertise is
appreciated. :]

My price limit is ~$200. Possibly more if it's a good buy.

Thanks so much for reading this, and even more if you chose to reply.

Stick with the ATI All-In-Wonder series. Nobody does AV better. The Radeon
9000 AIW is in your price range, but I would seriously suggest scraping up
another $50 for the 9600 -- a much more potent chipset for current and
upcoming games.
