Used a device that runs perfectly well using com port 1 with the IRQ. However when I used this device using a RS232 to USB converter on a USB port it doesn't work as the programme that communicates with the device requires a IRQ. Used the device manager to look for IRQ for the USB and tried to configure the programme to communicate with the device. However all attempts have failed. Please advise on what can be done to resolve this. Thanks.

i would suggest using the com 1...... unless there is a
fix in the manufactures website
