Configuration:
machine1: Windows XP Pro, memmber of WORKGROUP (not joined to domain)
machine2: Windows 2000 Pro, joined to DOMAIN
machine1 needs to be able to print to a printer that is shared on
machine2 as "printer" with EVERYONE as security. I normally do this by
going to Start | Run | \\machine2\printer. However, when I try to do so,
I'm asked to log into the Windows 2000 machine. I log in with
administrator and the admin password for the 2000 machine, after which
I'm presented with another login prompt, this time in the format
\\machine1\administrator.
What am I overlooking?
