Need to see the path in Word 2010

Can someone tell me how to set Word so I will see the full path in all Word
documents? I thought I had already set Win 7 for this function, and I can
see the path in every other program (WordPerfect, for example). However, I
have wasted a great deal of time trying to find where certain Word documents
are located simply because the path is not shown at the top of Word
documents when I open them. What have I done wrong, or what setting do I
need? I am using Word 2010 in Win 7. The compatibility mode is set for
Word 2006 so our church secretary can read documents I send to her.

Thanks,
MaryL

Thanks. Can you please provide a little more information? I have gone to
Customize Quick Access Toolbar, but it does not list either Document
Location or Path. I have not seen anything on the list that seems to apply.

You can add the Document Location button to the Quick Access Toolbar.

Click File tab | Options | Quick Access Toolbar. In the "Choose commands
from" drop down, select "All Commands." Locate "Document Location," select
it and click the Add button.

Perfect! Thank you very much.
