need to retreive contacts etc from apparently updated outlook?

Hello,
I tried to access a kid's program for one of my sons and somehow it opened
Outlook and updated? it. Now I can't find my calender or my contacts! Please
help!

How do I get it back or go back to the old? version.

Enable searching hidden files and folders and attempt to locate files whose
extension is ".pst". After locating them, note their paths. Start Outlook,
click File>Open>Outlook Data File (or Personal Folders File, depending on
version, which you didn't think important enough to mention), browse to one
of the PSTs you found, select it, and click OK. If it contains your data,
make it your delivery location (just how is also version dependent). If
not, proceed to the next until you find it.
