Hi guys, not my usual domain to be asking security questions, but I
encountered a recent problem:
My office issued me an EFS certificate and after a hard drive failure, I'm
now unable to find that certificate. I've read that it's still stored in the
Active Directory, but where exactly (as in, if I were to log in to AD,
exactly what steps would I have to take to re-download my certificate
containing my private key)? The articles I've encountered mentioned
something about a recovery agent, but do I need to refer to them to get my
personal certificate?
Thanks.
