I am drawing a graph in Powerpoint. There are two points on the graph I
would like to highlight as Point A and Point B. I would like to use a dot to
indicate these points. I have looked in the autoshapes and can't seem to
find a shape that is a simple dot. Am I looking in the wrong place.

What about using just a very small circle?

Turn off Snap to Grid (on the Drawing toolbar, click Draw | Grid and Guides)
