Need to make forms using text boxes

How do I make a text box with "insert date here" so when they click on it
they can just insert date or whatever, I am having trouble lining up the
sentences due to the box.

I'm not sure I understand your question, Katie, but if you're looking to
resize a box, you can resize a textbox or its label--click on it in design
view, move the cursor until it shows a left/right or diagonal arrows, and
click and drag to the desired size. You can move one or the other
independently by highlighting the top left corner until the cursor becomes an
extended forefinger icon; then click and drag.

To align groups of controls, select them all, then choose Format, Align.
The Format menu also enables you to make controls the same size, and change
they're vertical and horizontal spacing.
