need to have users change their own address

Hi all - running all Win2K pro in a private WAN environment - all users have
static address. I have some laptop users who will be loading the Checkpoint
SecureClient app so they can VPN in from the outside - of course they will
have to change their address from their internal static to their outside
address (mostly dhcp) - is there any friendlier way to have them make this
change so they don't have to go into network properties\IP? Maybe some
third party app with the smarts hidden, just some simple choices - where are
you - choose one - I know if we let them go in to the network applet,
they'll shoot themselves in the foot (over and over,.....)

use the netsh command to script the ip settings. You can set it, export
it to a text file and use a batch file to import back from it, or set to
dhcp. I have two batch files on my laptop, one to set my static config
for the office, the other dynamic for client sites. works like a charm.

Why? If they had dynamic IPs this would be a lot easier.
