Windows XP Need to get back to the original admin acc

Hi I stupidly decided to set up 2 new user accounts on windows XP on my laptop. Sadly I didn't realise that by setting one up as an administrator I couldn't log into the original administrator account.

This has proved a bit of a porblem as all my original emails inc the email with the passwords for my mail accounts are now unvailable as outlook seems to have reset itself : (

Getting outlook back seems to be my only problem at the moment. Its times like this that you wish you'd done the backup recovery CD when prompted!!!

its windows xp pro I've tried the restore option and it trys to do it but fails. I've tried 3 different restore dates so far. it doesn't say why its failed which would be off some use.

first off lets not panic. whats your technical expertise level? are you comfortable with ISO images and/or command line?

ensure that booting from cd is enabled within your system bios and boot the CD

I'm fairly competant. SO this software resets passwords for loggin in? Will this let me get back to the original administtrator log in?
