I am running WinXP SP3 Pro. I have a small office network (2 WinXP
computers). The wireless router is not password protected but I need to get
into the router settings to put a password on it. I have no idea what the
router address is since the person who knew it is no longer with the company.
After I connect the computer to the network, can I find out what the router
address is through my WinXP computer?

Is this router also your DHCP server or default gateway?
then, you have it's address :)

Pavel A. is quite right, but in case you need more details:

Start>Run>cmd [enter]
ipconfig /all [enter]

Look at the Gateway IP address.

m_ridzon,
What is the brand of the router? Then check on the manufacturer's website,
for set up instructions, there it should give you the name of the the
default "admin" or "administrator" name for that router.

In a local network, the router address is usually "192.168.1.1" - as Rich
states you will need the "default" password - usually "admin".
