I am after a sample access file that I would like to improve but just need
somewhere to start.
I am looking for an application that will help me monitor/task activity of
few people - so just data entry and basic reporting.
Any I idea where I can download a free sample for access 2003?

There are a few template databases around... but you should really consider
taking the leap and building your database from scratch. Any template will be
based on what somebody ELSE considers the appropriate structure, which might
be off the mark for yours. Access is a powerful toolkit, and you can use it to
build a database that fits your work needs. It's sort of like the distinction
between buying readymade kitchen cabinets (that don't quite fit the room!) and
building to fit: more work but it is perfect for the room.
