I'm going to be installing for a small company that has no IT staff. They
have many different types of machines and they do not have a true network
server, plus several notebook computers out of state. I'm suppose to
upgrade all their old machines (Win95, Win98) to Windows 2000 (They refuse
to go to XP, not sure their hardware would be able to hold it either). I
have been able to do the server distribution in the past or ghosting, but
these are not options that I can use at this time. I did come across some
TechNet articles (KB249149 - Installing Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows
2000 Hotfixes, and many others that talk about using a Bootable CD image but
not how to make one they only reference the ability to use it as an option)
Can anyone tell me the steps I need to create a bootable CD for installing
Windows 2000 with SP4 and Hotfixes. Would it also be possible that the
answer file can be placed on the CD instead of having to also do a floppy
disk.
Thanks
