How can I convert a PPT to a Word doc? I tried clicking File and then "Send
to.. Microsoft Office Word".
It asks how I want it saved, like notes next to or below the slides, and I
click "OKAY". However, instead of actually getting the conversion, I get a
window that says: "Powerpoint can't locate Microsoft Office Word. Make sure
Microsoft Office Word is properly installed on your computer."

I regularly use Word on my computer.
I created the PPT on the same computer.
I moved the PPT to a CD for storage, and just copied it back so I could
include it in Word form in a portfolio for school.

HELP!

Wow, I've never seen (or heard of) anything like that. If you go to Help |
About in PowerPoint, which version does it say you're using. How about in
Word?

I have Microsoft Office 2003, Student-Teacher edition, which I installed
after buying the computer with Win XP & Microsoft Office on it. When I click

Thanks for the info. I was trying other buttons after I replied last time,
and the "detect and repair" button worked! I did it for both ppt and Word,
and now I was able to transfer the ppt to Word. Yippee! And thanks for your
help! :)
