1. There are commercial converters. I found one at
www.adlibsys.com - not really cheap.
2. You can write a program that reads the msg file as a
Microsoft Compound Document where you can access subject,
body and so on. You can find an example in perl at
www.xs4all.nl/~mvz/software/msgconv.html.
3. There should be a way to write a program that uses
Outlook functionality, but we didn't succeed yet.
By the way, MS Knowledge Base Article 184226 says the the
msg File structure is proprietary and how you should
access these files.
