need to click links twice

About a week ago I started to get bad gateways. They are
mostly gone now but in their place are broken links that
can only be activated if after I click then cancel then
click again. Could the two be related? What should I do?
P.S. This is just starting to happen when I retrieve mail
in outlook express, as well.
