Need to change Log On Domain

Problem: I can't log on my work laptop (get message "The
system could not log you on. Make sure your User name
and domain are correct . . ."). I do not get the option
to change the Domain name (no "Log On To" prompt) at the
Log On screen.

OS: Windows 2000 Professional

PC: Dell Latitude D600

Cause of Problem: I changed Network Identification
Properties from Member of Domain to Member of Workgroup
(I was attempting to connect the laptop to my home
network, so I could use my home printer).

Note: Prior to the change, I was able to log on with no
problems. I have confirmed that the username is correct.

Question: How do I change the domain back to my
company's domain ? (i.e., how do I force the "Log On To"
prompt to reappear at the Log On screen?)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You have to logon to your laptop with valid local username/password
(probably Administrator) and then join the laptop back to you company
domain. You have to do this while connected to your company network. If you
don't know how, then ask your system administrator.
